Louisville Eccentric Observer - Music Preview December 5, 2001

For those in need of singer-songwriter fix, Joe Pagetta, now of Nashville and formerly of New Jersey, plays the Rudyard Kipling on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. Last year, T.E. Lyons wrote of Pagetta that his songs “are filled with wonderful observations on how doubt works as a force within personal relationships.” His new CD Small Worlds continues down that personal path, but interweaves witty pop culture references to the likes of Ebeneezer Scrooge and the iconic power of an Elvis Presley poster, all couched in a cozy voice supported by nicely played acoustic guitar.
